CEI 01

Day 01:                                             Bangkok – Chiang Rai

Arrive in Chiang Rai. transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight accommodations.

Day 02:                                             Chiang Rai (B/L/D)

Breakfast in the hotel and free time till 09:30.

Lunch in a local restaurant before continuing the journey to Doi Pha Tang, offers magnificent views of the Mekong, which crisscrosses the valley below, Laotian side.  On arrival, you will climb a small staircase, pass a Chinese pavilion and an altar with a Buddha before committing to a path with sometimes small paths side to access the view.

Afterwards visit Phu Chi Dao, a highlight here is the top of this cliff which features a striking 360-degree view and free from any blockage neither tree nor construction. The spot has only the bamboo fence as a barrier for the sake of visitor’s safety. A place is rich and abundant in natural

Check-in at the local resort for overnight accommodations. 

Dinner will be served at the local resort.

Day 03:                                               Chiang Rai (B/L/D)

Wake up around 5 a.m. and head to Phu Chi Fa before the sun rises. With views over the surrounding mountains, it is one of the famous tourist attractions of the Thai highlands near Chiang Rai. Tourists visit the mountain especially at dawn to catch a glimpse of the "sea of mist", the view of the fog-surrounded hills, with heights ranging between 1,200 and 1,600 m. to the east of the mountain

Go back to the hotel for breakfast before going to Chiang Saeng for visiting Wat Phra that Pha Ngao, an ancient, and sacred temple. Wat Phra That Pha Ngao is glamorously built in Lanna architectural style. It was well-preserved, clean, and peaceful. Visitors can see the panoramic view of Mekong river from up here.

Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

Next stop will be the Golden Triangle, where the Mekong River joins the Ruak River and form the famous “triangle” with the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Visit also the Opium Museum.

Afterwards visit Doi Pha Hee. Edging the Thai-Burmese border at the northernmost corner of Chiang Rai, Doi Pha Hee has become a sensation of late among cafe hoppers when the community converted their spaces into cafes, lining the viewpoint areas overlooking the green mountainous layers and our neighbour next door.

Check-in at the hotel for overnight accommodations. 

Dinner will be served at the local restaurant.

Day 04:                                   Chiang Mai – Next Destination (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel before visiting Doi Sa Ngo. it is a beautiful ecotourism destination in Chiang Rai.What makes this place unique is that from here, you can see Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos all from one spectacular viewpoint.

Afterwards visit Black House, locally known as Baan Dam. It is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern design.

Last visit will be Wat Rong Khun, also known as the white temple, a lifetime project of the artist Chalermchai Kositpipat. The temple has a fine blend of traditional Buddhist art with contemporary themes and is decorated with small pieces of mirrored glass which add substantially to its dramatic beauty.

Lunch will be served in the local restaurant.

After Lunch, transfer to Chiang Rai airport for the flight to the next destination.
